"One day at a time--this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering."

A Baby Did Change Everything

Tis the season to remember why we celebrate Christmas.
 Christ's birth did change everything.
This song always touches me when I hear it.  The faith that Mary had when she was told by the angel that she was chosen to birth baby
Jesus, our Saviour, is amazing.

Please scroll down to bottom of my page to mute the  music player so  you can fully enjoy this video.

"And the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus."
Luke 1:30-31

" For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.  And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
Isaiah 9:6

What an amazing gift we've been given.
My life has been changed because of my Saviour,
 Christ the Lord!

-Joy to You-

So very true. How I wish I would yield as quickly as she did. How brave, accepting, trusting, without fear of the consequences, in spite of the fear.

How thankful I am God knows my heart, my desires. How thankful I am he loved me even before I loved him. How thankful I am he is opening my eyes more and more to the wonder of him.

I am thankful too, I have met you.

Have a blessed Christmas!

The name of our church Christmas program this year is "A Baby Changes Everything." Absolutely right. Thanks for being a bold witness.

PS::: Love your water colors. I use to use acrylic and do (sometimes still) portraits with simply #2 pencils or I'd try to paint them in acrylic. Then yrs down the road(and through many trials :0) God guided my hand in the cute whimsical style I mostly use now. He is awesome,,oops, AWESOME is Our God!!!
Love the Barn scene below too.
