"One day at a time--this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering."

Beautiful Y♥U

You are so beautiful to me..♫♪
(the back of one of my newly created art jounals)

I am so thankful for each of you.
There is just something so special about
fellow blogging friends.
When I visit your blogs
I become
more inspired,

more hopeful, more creative…
and the list could continue on and on.
But the main reason I visit you is because
You are REAL
You are not trying to be
someone else, or something other than
who you are not.

I cherish the ups in your life and

I cherish the down times too.

Many times, what you are going

through at the moment, touches

my heart so deeply

because it is similar to what

 I am going through also.
Thank YU...You inspire me!

Actually, the real you inspires
and gives hope to more than just me,
but to so many more.
Your own “YOU” journey is
a very important one.
So don’t ever doubt that YOU make a difference.

“A journey is best measured in friends

 rather than miles.”

Tim Cahill

You help inspire my wings to open and fly!

(new watercolor pendant I recently created)

Oh... I just felt a sweet breeze...
and heard a flutter...
Oh yes...
you're wings are opening.
Can you feel it?

Is Your Heart Young?

What a beautiful day today here in Indiana!
Sunny with a light breeze and it just
makes this girl HAPPY!!!

I don't like to think that I'm a girl
whose moods can be sweetened or made gloomy
by the weather, but it truly does make a
bit of a difference.

I worked some more on my new
birdie painting.

Not liking how the words of the song
in the first line on the tree branch didn't show up
from a distance like I planned for them to.... but,
I am loving how the words to this old favorite
song makes me feel. Oh and how it makes
Mr. Fancy-step Cardinal feel too.
“The heart
   that loves is always young.”

Don't you think
that loving others and being thankful
daily for what they mean to us,
is one of the keys to
staying young at heart?
....and laughing and playing together
can do wonders also.

I've always had a tendency to take things
to heart and can analyze something to
death if I don't balance myself.
But thankfully, when this
tendency stays around a little
too long, I've learned
it's time to go out
and do something fun or even silly
or whatever brings on some laughter.

That used to be doing a cart wheel in the yard,
but now if I tried that I would probably
end up in the emergency room
and very embarrassed when explaining
just how I ended up there.
How about you?
What do you do to help yourself stay

Being with you my friends, sure helps
keep my in better shape.

Here is my wish for you:

"Fairy tales can come true,
it can happen to YOU
If you're young at heart"

So make sure to go out this week
and tap dance
in that special created life of yours!

My Favorite Girls!!

I love my girls soooo much!
I also love the boys in my life too, but today
this post is for the girls in my life that
make my heart so proud!

I just had to share some photos my son-in-law,
Stevan took of our granddaughter's graduation
from preschool tonight!

To be honest, it breaks my heart that
we could not be there in person to see her perform.
 (8 hours away)

She performed as a sweet little birdie
in her preschool play.

I am so thankful that we can see
these precious photos via the
 speed of online magic.

some fun and crazy poses!

Now I didn't teach her to cross her eyes like this!
My mother warned me that my eyes would
stay that way permanently if I
did it too often! ha
This little gal has her grandma's heart
as a permanent, forever valentine!

Our very special, beautiful and sweet heart of a daughter Jessica!
She is also the most wonderful mommy ♥ and
was a elementary school teacher before having children.
Our grandchildren, her children, are so blessed
to have a loving and creative mommy
that makes learning for them so fun and exciting.
She can also sing like a beautiful bird
and is like Julia Childs in the kitchen!
Her scones are amazing!!
I LOVE YOU Jessica!!!

Our special, beautiful and sweet daughter Jaymie!
She is Social Worker/ Therapist with Hospice and
her BIG heart shines through in helping others make it through!
Not only does she have a passionate and big heart, but she
has been gifted with such great administration
and speaking skills and watch out if she ever plays
in a sport against you. She can kick your gluteous maximus!
I LOVE YOU Jaymie!!!

I am so blessed to have
such wonderful women (girls) in my life.
Truly, watching them and being with them,
makes me into a better woman!
Thank  you God for my girls!!

And thank you God for my girlfriends!
this includes Y♥U.
