I'm Telling You

Today was one of those days!
I've had a toothache for a few days now
and today I had to go and have a.......

~ oh I don't even want to say it ~

ROOT CANAL
OUCH
OUCHY
and OUCHNESS does not describe it well!

Have you had to have this procedure done?

I was of course still very numb upon leaving the dentist
office and decided to stop and treat myself
to one of these....

a Blended Spice Chai

It helped  to ease the anxiety I had from all of that
prodding and poking earlier.

Oh the excuses I can come up with
just to drink one of these yummy delights!!

I'm so glad I drank it before the numbness
wore off, because later  I was
hurting much worse.
Can you believe I have to go back in 2 weeks
so he can finish this stubborn tooth?
I guess I'm one of those few
who it doesn't work on the first time.
It figures!!!!!

I'm happy though, due to the fact they were able
to work me in for this procedure today,
so that I can travel next week
to see these two
special and sweet  and
bestest
(yes, I know this isn't a word)

Grandchildren
in the whole wide world!

Who cares about pain
when you have this to look
 forward to?

Smiles,

Thankfully, I have NOT had to have this procedure. I am glad you were able to get in and get it over with and enjoy your Frappe before the pain meds wore off.
Hugs, andrea

PS: Enjoy those beautiful babies, next week.

Hi LeeAnn,

I've had a root canal and they are NO FUN! I feel for you. I hope you are pain free very soon and you deserved one of those yummy drinks. Have fun hugging those grand-kids. I'm not sure I thanked you for your kind words about my Grandma's funeral...but thank you...it meant a lot that you took time to comment about my situation. I appreciated it.

oh Lee Ann the zebra made me smile - it was perfect for your post.

Yes, I have had several root canals!! Not fun! Going to the dentist is one of the things I hate to do!!! In fact, I am over due!!! I keep putting it off for a long as I can. Luckily I have pretty strong teeth!!!!

And yes, bestest is a word when it refers to grandchildren!!! :)

hi Leeann,
I hope you feel better soon!
I just want to touch bases with you to see if you got the info on how to do the beautiful blog award. I sent you an email, but am not sure if you got it.
Take care. Tonya

Root canals are NOT fun, but so much better than a tooth that hurts! Now you can enjoy visiting with your sweet grandchildren!

Hi LeeAnn,
I've never had a root canal and I hope I will never need one! Glad you treated yourself w/ a little something afterwards, and your grandbabies will certainly cheer you up!!! :)

Oh - and you asked about the font on my blog. It's called Monotype Corsiva and I had to monkey around in the HTML to get it to work. Something I REALLY shouldn't be trying to do all by my little self! :)

Wishing you a beauty-filled day,
Zuzu

How cute they are! Sorry about the root canal. Hope to avoid that for a while. "for our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all." somehow.

Awwww...what little treasures you have! They look like they're full of joy!

I never had a root canal, but I've heard it's very unpleasant. I pray the pain goes away quickly!

I'm a moo latte fan myself, which reminds me...haven't had one in quite a while! I'm not going to wait for a root canal either...

Hi Lee Ann, thanks for your sweet comments - I don't if those bushes work in your area. I know the Forsythia bushes are a fairly common around here - and we had them in Maryland and Va., but I guess that is still south in respects of where you are. :) It is beautiful, especially if it is not pruned into shapes like I have seen - the grow in arching swoops when left on their own. My is pretty big, should take the picture of the whole bush.

Oh you know how I said I kept putting off going to the dentist?? Well I got a reminder card in the mail yesterday of all days!!! They said I was due NOW!!!! :) Ha!!!

When I have canker sores I order a milk based caramel frapuccino. Love that and it also numbs the pain! Great excuse to indulge myself!
