Hello LeeAnn. Your watercolors are absolutely beautiful. You have quite a talent there. I love yellow roses with red tips and I also love mums in the fall. Congrats on your Etsy and your first giveaway.

The notecards look beautiful. My favorite flower is peonies. My mother-in-law panted some in the front of their first house. When I married my husband we ended up tearing down that small house and building ours. Those flowers survived the construction and have been the only flower I have been able to get to bloom in our yard. Now that my mother-in-law has passed away that small bunch of flowers is an annual reminder of her.

I love freebies. My favorite flower has to be lilacs. When we lived in the country we had two big lilac bushes close to the kitchen windows, in the spring the house would be filled with their wonderful aroma. Good luck with your cards.

About that faux window. Thank you for your comment. I had to paint the scene twice, I did not like the first one I did. It is only paint so go for it!

My favorite flower is called Dutchman's breeches. The name is absolutely perfect because the flowers really do look like miniature old-fashioned pantaloons hanging from a line (with buttons, too). I'll check back to see if I'm the lucky winner!

LeeAnn...it just occurred to me that your posy drawings are like a metaphor of your life...remember that season when you,as the clay pot, felt very broken...it is now being restored, even to the point of being more beautiful than before. It now serves as a beautiful container to hold colorful flowers for the joy, delight, and encouragement of others. LeeAnn, as I can see it, the breaking of the clay pot must have been necessary for you to truly fly-using the God given talents you have had all along...by looking at the comments, seems like a very facorable response to your drawing notecards, AND so beautifully packaged...don't forget, I bought the first box and by the way---where is it???? catch you later dear friend...Love Sue G.

To my special friend Sue (who posted anonymous) If it weren't for you, I would still be that broken clay pot! God put YOU in my path that season because he knew YOU were just the lovely soul I needed to help me along to better things in my life. I will forever be grateful for you!

Oh and I didn't forget to save your packet of posies! I have them ready to give to you at our next Ya Ya night.

Love and Hugs,
