"One day at a time--this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering."

This Cozy Season Thrills Me!

I  love the Fall season!
Especially right now
when it is in the 70's through the day and cool enough
in the evenings where you need an extra blanket to
keep you cozy and warm.

I love pumpkin scented candles and how
they make the house smell yummy!

And of course, I love the orange color
that the  pumpkins bring out  all around the
neighborhood and the countryside.

I really like these two pumpkin decorating ideas.
Aren't the lanterns painted on the
pumpkins the cutest thing?

I think this one would be so beautiful
as a centerpiece on the Thanksgiving table.
~if you can get your pumpkin to last that long~

Then of course, the color
of the Fall leaves are
such a wonderful reminder of what a
great painter and Creator
our God is!
Isn't it wonderful to know that God loves art too?

Another thing I love about the Fall leaves is
playing in them
with my grandchildren.

This is last year's photo in the leaves
with my granddaughter.
Her daddy wanted to take a picture of her
in the leaves, but first she said,
"Come on grandma,
you've got to play in them with me!"
There was absolutely  no way
I was telling her "NO"!!!!
Even with achy knees and all! ha

I also love Fall picnics with my hubby.
(I'll try to get some photos of us soon)
Every now and then after church on Sunday,
we will pack up some hot dogs and a few munchies
and head out to the local State Forest and roast
them there and enjoy the afternoon together.
I love that special time!

I'm an outdoorsy girl who loves nature, so when
hubby decides to spend time with me
out in my favorite part of earth,
it makes me soooooo happy!!!!

and autumn a mosaic of them all."

I would love to hear what your favorite
things are about the Fall season.  Please oh please,
won't you share with me? I'll even eat
a chocolate-marshmallow smore
in your honor if you do. he he
~Enjoy a wonderful weekend~

Lee Ann,

I love your spontaneous picnics with your hubby. There truly is no finer date in my book. Love it and hoping to find a place to do that here.

Sounds perfect....the date in the park! Such a beautiful idea inspires me.
I love everything you shared about Fall...and the pics of you and sweet girl in the leaves is wonderful.
My favorite thing about Fall is the cooler air...it's easier to breathe and just friendlier in every way!
Especially when it smells faintly of woodsmoke. Love that campfire smell!

It is a joyous time of year, all way round. The vibrancy of it inspires and my g-girls, who are 7 & 9 still have Nanny following in their enthusiastic footsteps :-)

I love all the things you love...mmmm pumpkin spice candles burning, jumping in fall leaves with the grands (achey knees and whole body in my case!---nice to know someone else has the same, and enjoys it anyway!), the cooler weather, the fresh air....ahhhhh...there is soo much to enjoy.
Thanks for your comment on my blog, what a sweet treat for me!
Looking forward to reading more about you!

Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. I love the cool crisp air and the opportunity to wear lots of sweaters and my favorite cords. I spend more time in the kitchen and we light candles every night at dinner. I adore apple cider, and can never turn down an apple crisp. I also love retiring earlier than normal, to read a great classic with a warm cup of tea. Everything about fall is wonderfully comforting!
