"One day at a time--this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering."

Look At What I Recieved..

I was so excited to open up the mail
and get these pretties
new etsy shop called Ripplespeak.

She creates such beautiful collage art with
a nature theme, and here in my photo
your will see
her collage art made into beautiful
note cards.

You all know
 how much
I love birdies!!!

Her beautiful blog is also called
and
if you love words from the HEART
 weaved into poetry with
 real life
and soul word pictures,
then you must give yourself a gift
and stop by to see her.

She has such a BEAUTIFUL way
of getting right to your heart.

Aren't these beautiful!!!

Thought I would also show you the room I create in.

I don't have a room all to myself yet for an art studio,
so I have this little corner in our guest bedroom
where the west side of the house lets in
the beautiful light and sunshine.

Here is my little corner where I usually paint my
small mini pendants.
I use a card table for the larger
paintings.  Of course when this photo was taken,
the area was
all cleaned up and looking much cleaner
than usual.
 When It's clean, it's also
a nice and cozy area to journal, do my devotions
and to light a candle and drink some
yummy hot chai!
It's a small space, but I can call it mine!

Tell me about your studio space.
I know many of you have wonderful large spaces
to create in and I could give in to jealousy, but
instead I really would love to hear about your
special space. If you will,  give us some
tips on how you've made your  space
work for you no matter what the size.
I know we could all learn some great tips
and ideas from one another.

Lots of warm and cozy moments are
wished for you all.
...And  in your very own
special, warm and cozy, favorite spot!

Lee Ann,
Jennifer's cars are beautiful and she is a jewel....we are all so blessed by her....

Your tulips are beautiful and make me yearn for spring....your creative space is so cozy and inviting that I can see why you love spending time there painting all your wonderful pictures and designing your pendants....

I love reading and seeing others creative space as well.....
I hope you get lots of impute...mine is a room where I have my creative space and a cozy chair where I do my quiet and reflective time.....of course it is full of yarn and fiber, my spinning wheel, sewing machine, and paints, pens and journals.....pictures of my loved ones, book shelves and my dolls all around....I have too much in this room but it's all my stuff I need to create......if I could narrow my interests down I could cut out a lot of stuff.....oh well......

I am glad things are going better...I have missed you...

Hugs girlfriend

Couldn't agree with you more about Ripplespeak, she's one amazing lady.
Creative spaces are so interesting, large or small. Love the corner you have claimed for yourself, it's beautiful and calming. The fact that you dare share a space in the guest bedroom tells me you work neat. With the mess I make painting if I didn't have my loft I'd have to set up on the basement floor! I do have a great room, the side overlooking the river is all glass & opens onto a small balcony. I watch the eagles soar as they fish the river. I've done nothing to pretty the room up, it's full of tables, tools and lots of splattered paint :-)

Lee Ann you are precious you know that...you have such a sweet spirit, it comes right through your words here on your blog.

You have made you little creative spot beautiful. You have seen mine...and you know about my dream for our existing barn, but I am afraid it might be awhile...the cost to fix it up is a little high for us right now. I know if God wants us to go forward he will provide and let us know. I am trying to be content with waiting. I want to be in his will regarding it...as much as I want to move forward now!!!

Grace, Peace and Love to you my friend!!

Jeniffer's cards are so lovely!

LeeAnn!!!
What a generous spirit you are:):):)
So cool to see my little brights
in your sweet space
where you dish out encouragement
like heaps of creamy ice cream
every time I come by.
With sprinkles and whipped cream
and a cherry on top:)
Only more nourishing
and no worries about calories.
You are just deep down dear.
Thank you for the love and share.
I like your soft space...feels welcoming and rich with LeeAnn-ness:)

My "studio" space is also my dining room and a ginormous challenge in micromanagement and flexibility.
(Insert tears and laughter at once)
Baby steps. Work in progress.
Imperfect yet beautiful.
Helps keep idealism at bay:)

Love and thanks again;
grateful and grinning,
Jennifer

What a lovely spot, I want to climb through the computer and sit awhile.

I rent a small one bedroom apartment built in 1942. Each room has only 1 outlet except the kitchen has 2. I've carved out a computer space in the corner of my living room, next to the cable area for internet. I have a lap top and I sit in my rocking chair and work on my computer. My laptop and my printer get stored on/in a microwave cart with two open shelves and two shelves behind doors. It is on wheels and I wheel it into a closet close to my work area. The printer goes on the top open shelf, the laptop on the smaller second shelf, all the cords, paper, toner, reference books etc.go on the shelves behind the doors. It makes a really nice movable work station.

I can't wait to hear other work space ideas.

Jlynn

Oh, my computer isn't for a business or anything like that. Mainly for doing my private blog and for reading other blogs etc.

what I am gathering is that the spaces we create for ourselves are very precious to us. Some have the spaces they dream of, many have to make do with what they have, but the important thing is that each one has a space to call theirs and to create and do the things they love and the things that feed their spirit.

hi lee ann!
ohhhh, i loooove jennifer so!
how sweet to hold her jewels in your hands & in plain sight!
...
my "studio" is a desk in the corner of our kitchen..so just a little spot!..but with windows on both sides of that corner...& then my STUFF is spread throughout the house!!!...on my long bedroom dresser, on the computer table in our "everything" room, etc!
(although right now i'm at a cabin, away for the weekend to create, & there is a long table between the living room & kitchen & that is where i'll be spreading my goods soon!)
...

love from all my stuff & me to yours & you!

well I don't have a studio space since I'm not really an artist. But i do have a kitchen and I tend to show it in every post. :P

Have a happy weekend! Love the cards!

Becky DID give me a hug for you! :)

Your creative space looks very cozy and wonderful Lee Ann. I love that photo of the tulips too...tulips are one of my favorites. They seem so springy.

I don't really have a special spot for doing my art or creative things. I usually just do it in the kitchen and then put it all away when I'm done. Maybe someday I'll have a spot to call my own :)

Thanks for sharing Jennifer's beautiful cards. She's very talented.

Although I live in a three-story fifth wheel (basement, living-dining on first floor, and three steps up to the second floor~ Hee hee) I don't have a designated space. BUT I do have a desk area next to the fireplace where I sew and write. I usually have a candle, fresh flowers and a photo of my kids nearby.♥

Oh, I love your cozy little space!

I don't have anything like that, other than my desk. It's in our huge dining room, and it's also my husband's office space, so it's usually very busy and messy here...

LeeAnn , thank you for leaving my first comment! I am still such a "newbie" but having so much fun!!! I removed the follower sidebar and now I have to figure out how to put it back. Also want to figure out how to put music on my blog.
Thank you again. Have a blessed day!
