"One day at a time--this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering."

Sailing

First, some grandmother vacation pictures
to show you
from my trip a few weeks ago.

She loved her face painted!
She is a butterfly!

My oldest daughter and her momma.

Two of grandma's favorite little sweethearts.

Here are some words to ponder for your day.
I find that sometimes I play it too safe in life and would
rather run to comfortable instead of stepping out
in faith and taking risks.
We were not meant to stay comfy all of the time
and we can never experience our dreams in full if we
are not willing to take the sometimes scary steps.

"A ship in harbor is safe- but that is not
what ships are made for."
John A. Shedd

Sail your ship out into the unknown today!
-Enjoy all God has planned for you-

Mary, my ship is moving slowly too, but you are right that we should still celebrate because it is progress!! As the saying goes: "slow and steady wins the race." Let's keep on keepin on!

Hugs,
Lee Ann

Well LeeAnn, like you and Mary, my ship has left port but it hasn't chartered a course yet, so I'm just enjoying the ride for now :-)

Grandkids make life worth living don't they!

You are so right on Bren! The journey is every bit as important, if not more so, than the destination. It's in the journey where we get to meet such great people along the way. Just like you.

LeeAnn, bless you for giving me more credit than I deserve :-) When it comes to art journaling it's easy for me to just slap paint and see what comes of it, because unlike you I couldn't draw or paint like you do (the drawing of the eggplant for instance) to save my life! None the less I find great joy in the creating and seeing what shows up on the page. Pray your achy body improves along with mine!

If you don't get on the ship, It will sail without you, sooooo. For me no step taken without my faith in Gods, Hope you cup is overflowing with blessings, Deborah
